We remember when Kanye was still dominating the sneaker market with Nike — before the designer/rapper switched to adidas. Back in 2009, the collaborators designed the three colourways Nike Air Yeezy 1 "Zen Grey", "Blink",  and "Net Tan", which fetched several thousand euros on reseller markets like StockX. They are also often the flagship models when we talk about the Air Yeezy era.

There's no denying it, because the Nike Air Yeezy 1's roots are clearly in basketball. The silhouette is high-cut, and a thick strap spreads over the midfoot, promising extra support. It is also made of high-quality materials such as leather and suede, while a large Yeezy lettering adorns the heel tabs. At the very bottom, a voluminous Air unit then cushions every step, and additional perforations in the upper part ensure good ventilation.
