The New Balance 550 basketball sneaker keeps coming out in new colourways, adding more models to its already wide colour palette. This week, the label is planning a "Burgundy" option to add to its arsenal.

For the new year, New Balance is certainly planning more hip colourways, increasing the hype around the sneaker that the New Balance 550 sparked in 2021. The new version is also made of leather and features an unusual colour pattern.

The colour accent is not only found mainly around the ankle of the New Balance 550 but also on the outsoles, the "N" logos, and on the tongues with a basketball motif. Other details include neon-blue hits on the "550" branding, while yellowed midsoles complete the overall design.
