After the Grateful Dead Bears x Nike SB Dunk Low "Orange" has already been released exclusively at FTC Skateboarding in San Francisco on July 18th, the official pictures of Nike are now out. Nevertheless, it's not clear if the sneakers were planned for a much bigger release. But most of us are probably hoping for a drop at Nike or selected retailers.

Leaks, leaks, leaks... In the last three months, we may have gotten more leaks than we'd like to. But now, we can finally rest and turn to the next chapter. Nike and the Grateful Dead are launching their big collection. The first pictures have been uploaded recently, so the release should be just around the corner.
The official pics of the "Green" and "Yellow" are shown here, but as for the "Orange”, it seems to be taking some time. Each model is painted in its matching theme and comes with a plush upper. Furthermore, the soles have the same colour, whereas in the last leaks, we’ve seen the "Orange" have a white midsole. Will this change in the near future?

The Grateful Dead-inspired edition is getting closer and closer. We now have the latest pictures of the bright green sneakers. The Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low embodies the dancing green bear from the rock band. Furry textures and hairy suede are dyed green and alternate with blue insignia.
The tongue only further confirms the collab. The green bear with the blue collar replaces the Nike logo and looks at the wild toe box. Here, you can take a look at the upcoming sneakers. The Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low will probably appear soon at Nike and selected retailers.

Nike SB continues to expand its reach with new iterations. It's no wonder that the label will also hit the music industry at some point. With the latest release, Nike SB gets the attention of the Grateful Dead fans.
Rumour has it that this colourful Dunk Low is supposed to be a tribute to the Grateful Dead Bears—a series of dancing bears seen on the back of the album, "History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One "Bear's Choice" in 1973. Shortly after the release, the colourful bears became the band's trademark.
The Nike SB Dunk Low could be a perfect image of the green bear. A fake green fur and a jagged blue Swoosh remind us of the collar of the funny bear. On the back and on the outsole, you can also see a similar pattern.
Could More Nike SB Dunk Lows "Grateful Dead Bears" Drop?
There were five bears on the album. So one could expect even more iterations. Unfortunately, this sneaker has no release info yet. We will definitely stay on it and keep you up to date.
