Fourteen years ago, New Balance launched the first 992 on the market and today, the silhouette is still a classic one that we could not imagine life without. Over time, the chunky sneaker has gained quite the experience and has been the canvas for some fierce collabs.  Most recently, KITH founder Ronnie Fieg showed a "Steel Blue" colourway on Instagram.

Besides some simple and calm colourways, the "dad shoe" now shows a very eye-catching feature. The new version uses a very colourful midsole.

When we take a look at the colourway, we recognize retro elements as well as modern updates. The upper is made of suede and mesh and channels a very subtle colourway. Further down, however, it becomes even more colourful. The midsole mixes red and yellow, while the green outsole rounds off the overall design.

We are definitely excited about the official pictures of New Balance. Unfortunately, the release date does not exist yet. But we will stay on it and inform you in time.
