Nike has uploaded the official images of the Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue" today. This brings us another step closer to the release. Unfortunately, no date has been given yet, but the sneaker is currently expected to drop on February 12th. More details on this release can be found here and in the Grailify app.

Jordan Brand has already confirmed the drop of the Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue", but today we are taking a look at the first product images of the sneaker. The new colourway is part of the latest Spring 2022 Retro Collection, which features a total of 15 different models.

The Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue" is slightly reminiscent of the OG "Black Metallic", as the upper is made of soft suede and is completely black. The side meshes are transparent, while the midsoles and brandings opt for the titular "Racer Blue" colourway.

Unfortunately, there is no confirmed release date yet, but the drop is expected on February 22nd on the official Nike website and at selected retailers.

Jordan Brand has revealed the Spring 2022 collection, which includes a total of 15 new sneakers. Included is the Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue", which is planned for next year. Check out the first image of the sneaker here. Unfortunately, the label has not yet announced a release date, but it is expected to drop on February 12th via Nike SNKRS and retailers.

Thanks to insiders, we now have a first look at the Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue". Jordan Brand has not yet commented on this release, but it is expected to drop on February 12th. We'll let you know as soon as we get more updates.

Even though the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5 has been behind us for some time now, the label with the Swoosh continues to release numerous new colourways for the classic. This year, for example, we already received the "Stealth 2.0", the "Raging Bull", and the "Anthracite". Now, however, we get a first glimpse of a potential release that we can expect as early as the beginning of next year.

The Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue" will feature a similar colour-blocking as the very first "Metallic Silver" from 1990. However, this release uses one of the more interesting colours from the repertoire and places the so-called "Racer Blue" on the lace toggles and the Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel. In addition, the blue hue is used on the inner lining of the tongue and a large part of the midsole.

Previous versions have used the hue much more sparingly on the shoe in the past, so we're really looking forward to this potential release. The combination of black and Racer Blue makes for a really eye-catching aesthetic. Of course, the characteristic features like the reflective elements on the tongue and an icy outsole are not missing either.

Unfortunately, we only have an unofficial mock-up of the Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue" so far, which is why a confirmed release date is also still unknown. Rumour has it, however, that a release date will be as early as February 12th, 2022 for 190€.
