This Air Max 90 Celebrates the Diversity of Latin America

The very diverse cultures of Latin America have been an extremely important source of inspiration for Nike on several occasions in the past and have provided some creative design ideas. As part of Latino Heritage Month (LHM), Nike is now trying to focus more on the importance of family in Latin American cultures and express the cohesion of the community through numerous new models. Nike's Lucha Libre collection recently addressed a similar theme.

Part of this initiative now is also the Air Max 90 "Familia", which is supposed to embody the diversity and spirit of Latin America in particular. An important inspiration for the design was the very colourful jerseys worn by goalkeepers in the '90s. Accordingly, the sneaker has a patterned upper consisting of various die-cut elements. These are made up of 100% recycled polyester graphics, making each pair unique.

Ten different colours are thrown together completely randomly, resulting in a very wild and above all, eye-catching look. This is reminiscent of Nike's most innovative and crazy designs of the '90s.

Don't Miss the Release of the Air Max 90 "Familia" (LHM)

The official images of the Air Max 90 "Familia" have already been uploaded, and a release date of September 29th at Nike and selected retailers for 130€ has also been mentioned. We'll keep you posted with updates, of course.
