Nigo is undoubtedly one of the most famous and influential designers. He is the founder of the Japanese fashion label, A Bathing Ape, which was founded almost 30 years ago. In 2013, Nigo left the company.
His latest Human Made x adidas collection is a reminder of the early days of BAPE — the time when most people probably consider it to be the "best time" of BAPE. Pictures of a three-part range have just appeared on the net. We see three different Rivalry Lows with playful colour-blocking and Human Made branding.
The models pay homage to the many earlier Bapesta sneakers. Strong colours like green, yellow, brown and orange paint the mudguard, the Three Stripes of adidas and the rest of the panels. Another pair has a light red tone and blue leather overlays as well as yellow accents, while the third model with pink and brown almost reproduces the earlier colourway.
