The New Balance 1300JP Comes Once in Five Years

The 1300JP has a very special place with New Balance. The incomparable sneaker was first released in 1985 and was then the "sports car for feet" for many athletes. Sneakerheads at that time praised the style of the 1300JP in the highest regard, and since then, it has been a rather popular sneaker. New Balance recognizes the high value of this icon and increases the hype level of the silhouette by releasing the OG colourway only every five years.

To this day, the sneaker community celebrates the "clean" colourway and is looking forward to a new chance to cop the sneakers after five long years. New Balance in fact manufactures the 1300JP in Skowhegan, Maine. The OG colourway has a textured blue mesh base and elegant gray suede overlays.

The padded collar comes in white. The shoe is further contrasted by the eggshell white leather inserts on the heel clip and tongue as well as the N logo, which comes with trims of steel blue, giving it a layered effect. In addition, the laces come in soft gray with some accents on the white tongue tag, highlighting the retro style. More eggshell tones appear on the plastic clip that supports the heel.

The multi-layered look is then combined with a white EVA midsole and underlines the durable black outsole made of Vibram rubber, which is reminiscent of the luxurious 1985 design. The retro style and time travel effect of the New Balance 1300JP comes with a matching shoe box in blue and white.

Do not miss the release of the New Balance 1300JP (2020).

Until now, the exact release date is not yet clear. But, it is assumed that the sneakers will be released on February 22nd. If you don't want to wait another five years, you should go for it when it drops.
