Boston-based brand Reebok has just unveiled its latest project. With Japanese apparel label South2 West8, Reebok will drop a collaborative Zig Kinetica II Edge. This is the first project the two labels will soon realise.
"We were inspired by the image of an outdoor terrain colliding with an urban city and the idea of connecting the two," said Kaname Nagaoka, Brand Director of South2 West8. "South2 West8 doesn't think much of overly sophisticated or highly technical designs, preferring those that are sporty and functional."
The South2 West8 x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge features a split upper with camo prints and green overlays, which is inspired by the traditional Japanese fly fishing method tenkara. Then, at the bottom, black spikes, a Floatride Fuel midsole, and a Vibram outsole complete the sneaker.
