Converse is expanding its basketball line on May 1st with a brand new silhouette. The G4 is the latest masterpiece from Converse and comes in a low and high version. Its core features include the old-fashioned design from the ‘80s as well as the best and latest cushioning technologies from Nike.
Latest Converse access Draymond Green from the Golden State Warriors is the one to announce the new sneaker. Converse took its inspiration from its own ERX series, which legends like Magic Johnson or Karl Malone have worn in games.
The boot-like look and edgy style of the sneaker could well be a direct successor. But the shoes have some updates that make them the ultimate sneaker. The lightweight and breathable mesh is combined with responsive React cushioning in the heel and Zoom Air unit in the front.
"The recharging aspect comes from the Nike React foam technology in the heel and the explosive component comes from the Nike Zoom in the forefoot," said Brandis Russell, VP of Converse Footwear. "The shoes immediately return the stored energy on impact as soon as the player lands on the heel. An important element for relentless players like Draymond Green."
