In the last two years, Nike re-released the "Ugly Duckling" pack, bringing the popular Japan-exclusive Dunks back to the market. Shortly after, other sneakers reminiscent of the models were released, but none of them came as close to the OGs as this Nike Dunk High.
It also has a shaggy suede upper, with the overlays made of leather, but the most striking thing about this Nike Dunk High is the contrasting colours of plum red and olive green. They provide an ACG-like flair.
Olive green is used on the toebox, mid panels, and collar, while the adjacent overlays are painted plum red. At the very bottom, the soles appear to be made of recycled material, as small remnants can be seen on the outer layer.
