Just as the Star Wars movie franchise has ended with a bang, so does the Star Wars and adidas pack befittingly comes with its own collection of silhouettes. Days ago, it has revealed a full Hoops line and given us a quick peek into the upcoming models. The new edition of the AlphaEdge 4D has gone over to the dark side as it pays tribute to the Death Star, one of the Empire’s most powerful weapons. 

The details are all but subtle and it is easy to mistake the shoe for a classic model. The sneaker comes with a dark shade of Primeknit starting from the toe all the way to the heel. Right on the sides reveal an understated etching of the Death Star itself, which slowly becomes more recognizable upon closer look. 

Additional branding done in white can be found on the tongue, while the heel tab features a stamped “THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE” lettering. The cushion appears to be done in a green hue, matching the logo on the heels. The Aero Green midsole is 4D-printed and right beneath it is a Continental outsole in black.
