Sneakersnstuff Invites adidas Consortium to the "20th Anniversary" Collection
For its 20th anniversary, Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff has been celebrating all-year long. Now, SNS joins forces with adidas Consortium to create a large and festive collection and release a 20th Anniversary Collection.
Four silhouettes will be brought on board: Two adidas ZX 4000 4D models in "Sunrise" and "Sunset", and a Stan Smith with portraits of the SNS founders as well as a pair of adilettes. The inspiration comes from the new Sneakersnstuff store in Los Angeles. Each pair of sneakers tells the story of the City of Angels from its own perspective.
The bright and sun-inspired adidas ZX 4000 4D "Sunrise" is inspired by the morning sun in Los Angeles. The deep orange and bright red tones remind us of the first few hours of the day. Both sneakers feature a special branding. While the left shoe has a SNS branding on the tongue, the right sneaker has an adidas Trefoil branding. In addition, SNS patches are applied to the side walls, highlighting the collection.
The counterpart of "Sunrise" is of course, the adidas ZX 4000 4D "Sunset", which says goodbye to the morning sun and welcomes the dusk as it sets in. Rich purple tones and bright pink tones beckon after the sun sets in the coastal city, while black eyestays and black patches on the sides signify the darkest nights.
The "20th Anniversary" collection by SNS and adidas Consortium is accompanied by a classic Stan Smith with a white leather base and unique details. These include a gold "sneakersnstuff" stamped on the outside and the faces of SNS founders Peter Jansson and Erik Fagerlind right on the tongues. Special SNS x adidas brandings on the insoles and black heel inserts complete the overall design.
In Los Angeles, slides are simply the staple shoe of mostly everybody. It just makes sense that the last pair in the collection is a white pair of adilettes with a full black print. Trefoil logos, SNS logos, and texts commemorate the 20th anniversary of SNS.
