After Salehe Bembury has shown his collaborative New Balance ML2002R1 on Instagram, New Balance now returns after a few months with an official release date.

For Salehe, this is the first major collaboration with New Balance. The Vice President for Sneakers and Men's Shoes at Versace has been inspired by Antelope Canyon in southwestern Arizona, USA and dips the sneaker in a vivid colour. A variety of textures give the sneakers a personal touch, with "Peace Be The Journey" being the theme for the collaboration.

On October 23rd, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance ML2002R1 "Peace Be The Journey" will be officially released by New Balance.

After a few months, Salehe Bembury finally unveils the first pictures of the collaborative New Balance 2002. These are the first on-feet pictures and singer-songwriter John Mayer is the lucky one to present the sneakers way ahead of time.

The Vice President for Sneakers and Men's Shoes at Versace has not yet had his own collab with New Balance. Hence, we celebrate the upcoming first drop from the creative designer all the more and we also want to have those colourful sneakers in our hands as soon as possible.

New Balance released the 2002 for the first time in 2010. The silhouette has some dad shoe vibes and is rarely used for a collaboration. This iteration mixes high-quality materials like leather and hairy suede with contrasting colours like orange, light blue or maroon. On the yellow base, supple suede overlays cover the sneakers and New Balance's "N" contrasts in light blue on the sides.

The partners have not yet mentioned any release info, but we will stay on it and inform you in time.
