PUMA is catching up big time in 2022. The German sportswear manufacturer from Herzogenaurach has released a multi-part collection with "The Batman" recently, and now the label is taking a quiet route with a new Slipstream Lo. In the early 2000s, the PUMA Slipstream gained notoriety in Japan for its fancy snakeskin, leather, and faux-fur styles. Many years later, the sneaker picks up the trend again, but this time it takes inspiration from the mentality of the Far Eastern country.

The PUMA Slipstream Lo "Sashiko" comes in a more sophisticated hue, referencing the Japanese decorative stitching technique. A blue canvas fabric serves as the background, with white stitching contrasting on the upper. Additionally, suede applications and light soles give the PUMA Slipstream Lo "Sashiko" a personal touch.
