Reebok Reworks the Alien Stomper with Mountain Research

At Reebok, shoe production is currently running at full speed. Not only are old and well-known Reebok Questions by Allen Iverson being released, but so is a series of Alien Stompers, which we have been following for several years. Besides the in-house sneakers and colourways, Reebok is creating an Alien Stomper together with Japanese label Mountain Research, which presents the clean look in a very casual way.

In 1993, designer Kobayashi Setsumasa founded the well-known label General Research and distinguished himself with the high sneakers with Velcro fasteners. In 2006, the founder renamed his brand Mountain Research and since then, it has always reflected his love for nature and his passion for innovative design.

Some elements are also reflected on the Mountain Research x Reebok Alien Stomper. The high cut is reminiscent of the early days of Mountain Research, while the innovative design docks onto MR's present day. Add to this are the many details that provide a decent contrast. On the Velcro closure it says, "Keep Strapped to Hold Firmly", while the outer ankle shows, "Keep In A Safe Place When Removing", and a "Fold And Turn Over After Going Thru Eyelet" on the inner ankle.

Don't Miss the Release from Mountain Research x Reebok Alien Stomper

Some retailers already have the sneakers in their release calendar. However, the exact date has not yet been announced. The sneakers will probably be released on May 8th.
