This new release has been created as part of the collaboration with the fundraiser “Why So Sad?”.

The colourway of the Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low is very strong, but at the centre of the design is the bird of prey, one of John Rattay’s signature symbols from his collection of lettering that has appeared on his previous merchandise releases. On the heels, the bird rides a bicycle, and on the insoles he is depicted with a skateboard.
Different shades of blue then adorn the Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low. Light blue marks the base and a dark blue the suede overlays. Additional contrasting red tongue branding and heel tabs, while typical Nike lettering is replaced by question marks and inner tongue labels come with “Why So Sad?” texts. Furthermore, the Swooshes are painted in a similar hue, but over time the paint wears off to reveal yellow logos.
