The Olympic Games has always been a big global event. Athletes compete for several days for their country and for the best placement with gold medals. In addition, well-known sporting goods manufacturers such as Nike design theme-oriented collections for the Olympic Games.

For the 2021 Summer Games, the Swoosh brand has even teamed up with several great partners like Off-White, sacai, UNDERCOVER, and AMBUSH to design sneakers and also apparel. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the 2020 event has been postponed for a whole year. Therefore, all athletes and labels are now competing.

The partners put together a really big capsule that should have dropped months ago, but the Coronavirus threw a wrench into the works again. But as the saying goes? Anticipation is the best joy! So, look forward to a colourful time with fancy sneakers and apparel created especially for the event.

Jun Takahashi from UNDERCOVER will also be launching a cult classic. The sneakers feature a red-grained nubuck material combined with black overlays. The Swooshes and outsoles match the overlays, while the heels are printed with white "Undercover Basketball Association" brandings and other details. The design is then highlighted in colour combined with white laces and midsoles.
