It combines the heritage of New Balance with Stone Island's history as a pioneer of materials and processes.

The two labels describe their sneaker as the first chapter of their collaboration. So, it's already clear that more sneakers are planned. The Stone Island x New Balance RC Elite V2 Burgundy has a toxic green upper and burgundy overlays that are designed to make you think the upper is broken.
The overlays form a cracked shape, while the right foot exposes NB's logo and the left side exposes Stone Island's compass. Alternative branding is used on the tongues. New Balance's Tokyo Design Studio branding complements the right tongue, and Stone Island's "Product Research" logo is added to the left tongue.
