Nike Space Hippie 01 Black Volt Release News
The entire Space Hippie collection is arguably responsible for ushering in the next phase of Nike’s “Move to Zero” initiative. The sneakers, which follow a sustainable line, are mostly made of renewable materials and originally started with four different silhouettes. The names are rather unimaginative, however, as they start with 01 and end with 04. Perhaps more editions await us in the future?
But now, let’s take a look at the other confirmed colourways. Two new Nike Space Hippie 01’s in the colours “Wolf Grey” and “Black Volt” will be released soon.
Nike Space Hippie 01 Black Volt Release Info
Like the first models, this edition comes with a predominantly dark shade and is accentuated with a few hits of colour, the small accents being decorated with neo-colours. Nike adds a new “Black Volt” colourway to its growing Space Hippie collection.
From upper to outsole, the Space Hippie 01 is made of at least 50% recycled material by weight. The “Space Waste Yarn” upper consists of about 90% recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles, t-shirts, and yarn scraps. Finally, sewn-on Volt Swooshes on the inner sides complete the overall design.
