Nike Blazer Mid Vintage 77 Popcorn

Curtains up for a new and fun pack from Nike. The Beaverton-based brand has unveiled a classy and premium "Popcorn" pack, which includes a Nike Blazer Mid and an Air Force 1. They pay homage to cinemas and feature a lens with a focus on subtle detailing.

But let's not go on about the entire pack, but rather more on the individual sneakers and their finishes. So, screen down and film up!

Nike has chosen the theme and the corresponding accents with great care. Both the Nike Air Force 1 and the Blazer Mid share the themed colourway with gold detailing, bold shading, and premium materials.

Along the back heel, the Nike Blazer Mid '77 gets "Popcorn" gold-plated embossing that refers less to a movie and more to the sneaker's "Fresh Since '77" year of origin. In contrast, the large side panels of tumbled leather are much more modest.

The soles, heels, laces, and Swooshes then add a slight vintage flair to the modernised sneaker in "Coconut Milk", so as not to steal the show from the red tongue labels and heel stitching. Along with the special shoe box for the Nike Blazer Mid '77 "Popcorn", you'll also get a gold popcorn-style keychain.
