Nike Air Vapormax Evo Midnight Navy Release News
Nike’s Vapormax technology is still at the forefront of the Air range, dedicating the entire midsole to suspended airbags. Now, the Swoosh goes one step further, combining decades of Air sneakers with the signature Vapormax sole to create the new Vapormax EVO — a wild design that pulls overlays, colours, and other elements from years of Air sneakers.
The first colourways are apparently leaning towards more darker editions, as the sneakers come with a sombre overhaul. But Nike has already announced that lighter colourways are on their way. We take a look at the first releases now, though.
Nike Air Vapormax Evo Midnight Navy Release Info
The “Midnight Navy” is much more vibrant than the previous iterations. Metallic accents are used less and replaced with blue, red, and orange details that shine. The lightweight upper of the sneaker is blue and is overlaid with angular white leather inserts. The mudguard and the heel tabs are similarly neutral, with the latter also painted a “Midnight Navy”.
The Swooshes are slightly darker, as a light grey tint hits the brandings. In addition, the Swooshes are outlined in black, while sunrise gradients mark the midsoles.
