Nike Air Force 1 Peace, Love, Swoosh

Just when you think that all the themes and colours on an Air Force 1 are pretty much over by now, the designers come along and surprise us again and again with new styles. The hippie movement is a few decades old now, but that's no reason not to revisit the theme. Let's take a closer look at the sneakers.

At first glance, Nike uses a white base made of smooth leather, as is often the case. But upon closer inspection, we see that the Swooshes on the side are made of tumbled leather.

The highlight stands out pretty quickly, with the three symbols "Love", "Peace", and the Nike Swoosh placed next to each other on the outside of the shoe. In this way, Nike creates a direct link between the hippie movement of the '60s and the Swoosh. Another sign of the movement, the many bright colours, can be found on various elements of the shoe. For example, the entire insole is brightly tinted and the tongue tag also stands out in the sea of colours. On the inside of the tongue, Nike also picks up the theme again by printing the three words "Peace", "Love", and "Swoosh" on the tongue tag.
