National Park Foundation x adidas ZX 8000 Release News

The National Parks Foundation has already found its way to the adidas ZX series. In August 2020, National Parks created a collaborative ZX 5000 “Joshua Tree”, and now, the model is joined by three more iterations. We’re talking about a new adidas ZX 8000 “Yellowstone”, a ZX 9000 “Glacier”, and a ZX 10000 “Crater Lake”.

Similar to the first model from the big collection, the sneakers have a muted update with earth-toned hues inspired by the national park that spans Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

National Park Foundation x adidas ZX 8000 Release Info

Rugged CORDURA® nylon once again forms the basis for the track-style sneakers, while three essential colours make up most of the shoe. Light blue meets the Three Stripes on the dark sides of the tread, as well as the laces — a nod to Yellowstone’s unique hydrothermal landmarks. You’ll find an image of this on the tongues, replacing adidas’ Three Stripes logos.

Underfoot, you’ll find a coloured midsole with a yellowed base and a predominantly dark sole in brown. The exception is the torsion bar with a colourful gradient.
