Kid Cudi's personal taste in fashion and art seems to be out of this world. The Vadawam 326 looks totally crazy and resembles an astronaut's shoe. But why are the sneakers called "Vadawam 326", and what do the numbers mean? Here, we show you the latest collaboration between the young visionary and adidas.

We've known since May 2020 that Kid Cudi and adidas are planning a long-term collaboration, but the Vadawam 326 is the first true "signature" sneaker from the Ohio-born rapper. What's more, Kid Cudi has something special in common with the sneaker. The first shoe creation is inspired by the name and birthday of his daughter Vada Wamwene Mescudi.

The Vadawam 326 (stands for March 26th, referencing the birthday) takes a high-cut approach inspired by the Artillery Hi, while also implementing NASA's space exploration theme.

The shoe features a leather upper and decorative overlays on the forefoot, while a protective heel and thick straps on the midfoot echo the moonwalking theme. A digitised "326" is also featured on the ankle collar.
