The Nike Air Humara is one of the many classics from the huge portfolio of the brand with the Swoosh and already celebrated its debut in 1997. Although the model was originally designed as a trail runner, the Air Humara made the leap to the street in a relatively short time and established itself as an important part of the versatile hip-hop scene. As part of the 25th anniversary, we can now look forward to a revival of the sneaker, as two colourways have been dropped in collaboration with Jacquemus.
Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara Ale Brown Release Info
The brand-new Air Humara in collaboration with Jacquemus is supposed to be a hybrid of the original silhouette and the Nike ACG Pocket Knife. The former is noticeable for its trail-running adapted outsole and lace collar, while the look of the Pocket Knife is expressed through the lateral bands, which provide the necessary lockdown with the laces. Furthermore, there are metallic mini Swooshes on the outer and inner sides. Jacquemus branding is placed on the inner and outer soles as well as on the tongues.
The "Ale Brown" colourway uses a dark brown leather base that is subtly contrasted by light brown suede overlays. Pink accents can be found on the straps and eyelets, while the colour of the outsole also matches the dark base. The mini Swooshes feature a sophisticated gold, while the midsoles round off the overall package perfectly with a checkered pattern.
