adidas ZX 8000 Purple Aqua

adidas reaches into its archive once again and presents a new colourway with a light base and elegant overlays. This season, many are celebrating the retro trend and adidas is getting on the hype train by reworking classic silhouettes.

One silhouette that is one of the oldest models is particularly well-suited to this retro style. The unique ZX 8000 is a sneaker that borrows the vibes of the ‘80s. Small modern updates are built in, which turn the old model into a completely new sneaker.

This is exactly how we would imagine a retro sneaker. Multi-layered inserts, synthetics and faded colours with little purple hits remind us of the ‘80s and ‘90s. The base is a light and breathable mesh and reinforces this new modern sneaker.

On both sides, we see the typical Three Stripes of adidas with a touch of purple for a stunning look. The signature adidas Trefoil logo accentuates the tongue and a blue lining completes the colourway. Further down, adidas uses its famous Torsion technology.
