adidas ZX 8000 Minimalist Icons Grey

adidas is currently experiencing a surge in brute colourways and collabs. Of course, the revived adidas A-ZX series filled with massive sneakers immediately comes to mind. The label from Herzogenaurach has dug deep into the archives and pulled out numerous old classics.

Included are also some ZX sneakers that are not part of the big collection. This highly respectable model with a simple white/grey colourway is one of them.

At first glance, the sneakers look a bit unremarkable, but with a second glance, you can see the thoughtful design with high-quality materials. The base is made of robust white leather, which matches the colour of the midsoles, heel clips, and laces.

On top are grey suede overlays with stacked inserts that highlight a deconstructed look. The Three Stripes on the side have been cut out for grey patches that reflect the logos.
