Original article 01.08.2022

Just ahead of 2022, adidas has unveiled its latest NMD S1. As part of the sneaker's launch, the German sportswear manufacturer has hired artist Phillip Leyesa a.k.a. Philllllthy to create special colourways. Philllllthy is popularly known for Japanese patching techniques that give apparel, sneakers, and also accessories a new look.

Now, the designer is set to get his own sneaker, as these images of a Philllllthy x adidas NMD S1 confirm. The new model consists of a black and cream knitted pattern, while indigo blue highlights individual elements. The blue also hits the Three Stripes on the sides and the details on the midsoles.

Then, in between, a white Boost sole contrasts with Leyesa's P logo, and underneath the unit is a brown outsole. There may be further branding inside the sneaker, but no details are known at this time.

Don't Miss the Release of the Philllllthy x adidas NMD S1

So far, the releases of the new silhouette are rather rare, and therefore we will be happy about the drop of the Philllllthy x adidas NMD S1. We're eagerly awaiting confirmation from adidas, and until then, we can take a look at these first pics. The shoes are said to drop on 15 November.
