Just under a year ago, Neymar Jr. and PUMA joined forces. The footballer and the German sports brand signed a multi-year contract, and now, the Brazilian star is getting his own collection.
Already this week, fans will be able to shop the first Neymar Jr. pieces. The Neymar Jr. x PUMA collection will be released on September 30th and consists of several pieces such as sneakers and apparel. For us, the footwear is of course very interesting, which consists of two Wild Riders in the colourways "Black" and "White".
The word "Blessed" is tattooed on the back of Neymar Jr. and is considered the footballer's mantra. At the same time, the word serves as a concept for PUMA's collection. "It's not always about being the best or the greatest, but about inspiring future generations," it says on each of the pieces.
"They really listened to me and understood what story I wanted to tell because the collection is inspired by my past and who I am as a person, not as a footballer. We exchanged ideas about the design and the details that we incorporated into the collection. I was well involved, and they really understood what I wanted to communicate," says Neymar.

On Thursday September 30th, you can find part of the collection online at PUMA, as well as in-store. The two Wild Riders, on the other hand, will drop at the end of November.
