Next Week Sees the Release of the Three-Piece Engineered Garments x Reebok LX2200 Collection

A few days ago, Reebok confirmed a new collaboration with Nicole McLaughlin, and now another project is reaching the light of this world. Engineered Garments has designed three LX2200s with American sporting goods manufacturer Reebok, which will be dropping very soon. Check out the first images and release info below.

Daiki Suzuki, founder of Engineered Garments, is known for his patchwork aesthetic. Daiki is now applying this signature look to the next three Reebok LX2200s. They include a brown, a black, and a white version. The Engineered Garments x Reebok LX2200 share a premium leather upper, soft nubuck, and the base is made of an embroidered textile. Particularly eye-catching are the glossy panels on the midfoot and an "EG2200" branding on the heels.

"To design this shoe, we used basic earth tones and implemented our traditional brand aesthetic through material mixes and an asymmetrical colour scheme," says Daiki Suzuki. "We wanted to highlight elements of New York City that are not usually seen in campaigns. In particular, Flushing Meadows, home of the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs, was a setting that felt authentic because it has so much historical significance."

When to Cop the Engineered Garments x Reebok LX2200

At Engineered Garments, the sneakers will drop exclusively on December 8th. A bigger release of the sneakers will then follow on December 10th at and selected retailers.
