The series of adidas and The Simpsons continues with a collaborative McCarten. But instead of continuing to focus on drinks and food, the upcoming sneaker is inspired by Ned Flanders' left-handed shop. We show you the detailed images here and go into detail about the sneaker, which may be released in October.
Ned Flanders is the lovable, annoying neighbour of Homer Simpsons. In numerous episodes, Ned plays a leading role. One of them is in the unforgettable "When Flanders Failed" episode from season 3, when he opens his shop Leftorium in the mall, which exclusively offers products for left-handed people.
The sneakers themselves have no direct reference to the Leftorium, but the sneaker box from The Simpsons x adidas McCarten "Ned Flanders" pretends to. Ned Flanders proudly holds a sign that reads "Left Handers Rule!" outside his shop. Inside, you'll find a collaborative adidas McCarten, colour-coordinated to Ned Flanders' outfit. Brown and green cover most of the upper, while a soft pink covers the supple leather lining.
