We remember when A BATHING APE released two limited edition versions of the New Balance 2002R as well as a multi-piece apparel capsule in 2021. Apparently, it wasn't going to end at that collaboration, as insiders have recently uncovered two new A BATHING APE x New Balance 57/40s. The shoes feature a popular pattern and signature BAPE details.

Aside from the colourway, the two upcoming A BATHING APE x New Balance 57/40s share many of the same design elements. First of all, characteristic shark teeth adorn the heels between the iconic monkey head and the A BATHING APE lettering. Furthermore, New Balance's N logos are then covered with camo prints from BAPE.

Similar to the collaborative 2002R from 2021, one edition appears in several shades of grey, while the other model deviates strongly from this. Indeed, the second sneaker has gotten a colourful makeover in orange, pink, blue, and other hues.

So far, only these images of the two A BATHING APE x New Balance 57/40s have been revealed. No release date has been set yet, but the shoes will supposedly be released in the next few months.
