MOCA and Vans Honour Judy Baca, Brenna Youngblood, and Frances Stark

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA for short) and Vans are continuing their artistic collaboration. After celebrating California culture together last month, the design teams are creating a new art-themed collection. Featuring several sneakers and apparel, Vans and MOCA showcase the designs of three female California artists.

One strong artist is Judy Baca, who designed the artwork "Hitting the Wall, Women in the Marathon". In the collection, we find the 1984 work on a Vans Old Skool and a jacket, while a jumper comes with the 1990 work "The World Wall: Triumph of the Hearts".

The second artist is Brenna Youngblood. Her extraordinary, colourful 3D works are used on an Authentic and Classic Slip-On. Lastly, Frances Stark rounds off the collection perfectly. The artist's hand-drawn Los Angeles map is put on a Vans Old Skool, and a Sk8-Hi celebrates an L.A. crowd.

Don't Miss the Release of the Second MOCA x Vans Collection

In just a few days, you can purchase the MOCA x Vans collection. The pieces will drop on November 12th at the Vans online shop, at selected retailers, and at the MOCA shop.
