Metallica and Vans Drop Two Sneakers for the 30th anniversary of "The Black Album"

The rock band Metallica released the great album "The Black Album" almost 30 years ago, and with Vans, this anniversary is about to be celebrated. The collaborators will release a total of two sneakers: a Metallica x Vans Sk8-Hi and a Slip-On.

"The Black Album" by Metallica is one of the band's best-selling albums, and to honour the masterpiece, Vans will drop two inspired classics. The sneakers feature an upper with skull graphics designed by graphic artist Brian Schroeder a.k.a. "Pushead". The artist has been drawing the iconic images and artwork for the band's promotional materials since 1986.

The colour scheme is shared by the Metallica x Vans Sk8-Hi and Slip-On with a black background, while silver Metallica branding adorns either the midfoot or the soles. But the highlights are the skull prints on the inner and outer sides.

Don't Miss the Release of the Metallica x Vans Sk8-Hi and Slip-On Collection

The new Metallica x Vans Sk8-Hi and Slip-On collection will be released on 25 July exclusively for Vans members on Vans.co.uk/family and afterwards on 26 July on Metallica.com. Prices are unfortunately not yet known.
