Jordan Brand launches a new Jordan 12 at FIBA 2019. The Fédération Internationale de Basketball is a world basketball federation based in Mies, Switzerland. The association was originally founded in 1932 by eight national basketball federations: Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Portugal, Romania, Lithuania, Italy, Argentina, and Greece.

The FIBA Men's World Ranking is led by the USA, which is currently number 1 at 793.7 points. This is quite a challenge, considering Spain comes in second at 703.4 points and France third at 650.2 points. Germany is somewhere on the 22nd spot at 402.5 points.

At this year's FIBA, 32 teams will play for the highly coveted trophy in China. The World Championship starts on August 31st and ends on September 14th. For this momentous occasion, Jordan Brand of course creates a brand new Jordan, which is made specifically to celebrate the huge event, doing the honours with the Jordan 12 in its famous “FIBA" colour scheme.

The design may be minimalist in appeal, but it surely stands out due to its small details. The upper is made of white leather and is accentuated with a red lining and gold details. To complete the celebratory FIBA sneakers, Jordan Brand inscribes the words "Love the Game" on the heel and Jordan's famous #23.

This 2019, FIBA hosts the championship together with China's National Basketball Federation and the local organizing committee.
