LEGO and adidas Plan More ZX 8000s with Monochrome Colourways

Update 12.04.2021

The LEGO x adidas Ultra Boost DNA "Plates" with customisable Three Stripes is one of the most inventive sneakers around. Now, playtime for the partners continues with six monochromatic ZX 8000s. As announced by 43einhalb, it seems the brands took inspiration from the basic colours. The LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 have standard LEGO colours, and details like the heel clip or lace locks resemble the bricks.

All six sneakers will drop on April 23rd at selected retailers like 43einhalb. The sneakers have not yet been spotted at adidas.

Original article 11.01.2021

Even before the turn of the year, there was a great collaboration. LEGO and adidas released a collaborative ZX 8000 at the end of September, which is part of the A-ZX series. It seems that the duo has more versions planned for 2021, as images of a total of six sneakers have now been released.

It looks like the partners are breaking down the first sneaker into its components. Indeed, the next editions will have a monochromatic scheme, which is reminiscent of the details instead of the multi-coloured make-up. The upcoming releases include a green, blue, yellow, red, grey, and black LEGO x adidas ZX 8000.

In addition, the signature elements remain the same. For example, the heel cap as well as the eyestays have a pattern that reminds us of the small building blocks, while the lace lock comes in a small 2×3 building block. The co-brandings and an adidas Torsion sole then round off the overall design.

Where to Buy the New LEGO x adidas ZX 8000

Unfortunately, there is no exact release date for the six LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 yet, but we can assume that the sneakers will drop at adidas.
