So far, 2022 has been all about the Nike Air Force 1, as the beloved classic has turned 40. But alongside all the collabs, the Beaverton-based brand is celebrating the milestone of the Air Max unit. If it weren't for the Nike Air Max 90 XXXV "Scream Green", the anniversary would probably fly under the radar.

It's made of high-quality materials that are rarely used like this. Lightweight mesh in white covers the base of the Nike Air Max 90 XXXV "Scream Green" and significantly reduces the weight. Denim fabrics are then used over the first layer, which are as timeless as the Nike Air Max 90 itself. We suspect the material will wear over time, as is typical of denim in its raw state.

In between, "Scream Green" hits then complement the colourway, representing the Emerald Anniversary. They're less apparent, but you'll recognise them if you look at the rear "XXXV" (35) markings and diamond graphics on the tongues as well as insoles. Additionally, a mysterious "32C" adorns the tongue label and insole, but Nike will surely reveal their meaning soon.

For kids, the Nike Air Max 90 is a perfect shoe. The shape of the silhouette gives the toes more room to move, while durable genuine and synthetic leather promise a very good fit. Then underneath, Nike's legendary Air Max cushioning and a flexible foam sole make for an easier walk.
