Nike has set itself the goal of becoming climate-neutral. Not only have the sporting goods manufacturer's retail and business premises been redesigned as part of the "Move to Zero" initiative, but its own products are also taking a giant leap. More and more sneakers are leaving the production halls with recycled content.

Among them are more upcoming Air Max sneakers. The classics from Beaverton are among the hottest shoes and have already appeared in countless colourways. Most recently, Nike and Travis Scott have announced two collaborative Nike Air Max 1's that have not yet been released here.

This Nike Air Max 90 GS "Summit White" for kids also offers a new look. Bright colours and sophisticated materials are in the spotlight for the new model. We've taken a closer look at the shoes and also show you some detailed pics of the sneaker.

Compared to most previous iterations, the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 GS "Summit White" is versatile and great for year-round wear. White leather lends itself to the upper, covering both the collar and overlays. The Swooshes also follow the first example so as not to create too much contrast, while the white TPU eyelets and heel tabs further freshen up the colourway.

Towards the bottom, the Nike Air Max 90 GS "Summit White" then looks more earthy, as the suede mudguard is fully soaked in brown. Cut-out Air Max logos are given a similar shade, and the lower windows with the visible Air unit then change to "Metallic Red Bronze". Finally, light-coloured midsoles and outsoles round off the design perfectly.

Nike has not only changed the look but also improved the technological components. More specifically, this new Nike Air Max 90 LTR has an updated cushioning that is softer and more flexible. In addition, the Nike Air Max element has been optimised for growing feet, with the shape giving the toes more room to move.

A mix of genuine and synthetic leather also increases the durability of the sneaker, while a padded collar ensures a soft feel. In addition, the Nike Air Max 90 GS "Summit White" has a full-length outsole with notches for more flexibility when walking.

It's incredible, but with the new LTR version of the Nike Air Max 90 GS "Summit White", Nike has noticeably increased the wearing comfort. Not only do the sneakers feel very soft, but they literally fit the feet like a glove. Unfortunately, only GS, PS, and toddler sizes have been released. Larger shoe sizes for adults will probably not follow, but some women will certainly find a suitable shoe size in the GS column. Don't experiment with shoe size, go for your true size. The shoes fit perfectly.
