We have talked about a new Nike Air Max exactly a month ago that will most certainly expand Nike's portfolio. And, only a short while later, the Nike Air Max 200 has finally come out, dropping some very new and interesting colourways. The AM200 is a hybrid that gets a subtle retro look thanks to its elevated toe.

We already know the principle of hybrids. You take two different silhouettes and combine them together. That's exactly what Nike has done with the Air Max 270 and Air Max 180. Dominated by blue mesh and black inserts, the Air Max 200 (1992 World Stage) is inspired by the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Green accents are hinted all over the sneaker while red insoles complete the overall design. The fresh sneaker is set on a white midsole and a black Air unit.

Our conclusion? A successful hybrid indeed as well as a beautiful homage to 1992! You shouldn't worry about the size either. The Air Max 200 is true to size and feels particularly comfortable. You can get the sneakers now at nike.com and other selected retailers. If you want your whole family to wear them, by all means do so. It comes in full family sizes after all. It’s a good thing that Nike has thought of the ladies as well as the kids and will be releasing a few more sizes, widening the market for this latest drop.
