When it comes to collections, Nike is usually the pioneer for hip and unique designs. The Beaverton-based brand has created numerous packs with notable designers, retailers, or on their own.

From collections inspired by international events to iterations rooted in visible Air cushioning, Nike has had a busy year. And before last year was even over, Nike was already working on another big collection that is now slowly being released. It's called "Topography" and includes several silhouettes in different colourways, with very little colour accents on some pairs.

Currently, six sneakers fill the "Topography" collection. These include a Nike Air Max 90, a Nike Blazer Mid Vintage 77, two Air Force 1's in "Red" and "Blue", an Air Max Plus, and an Air Max Plus 3. But before this article gets too big and confusing, let's take a look at the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Max Plus 3 "Topography Red", which we think are also some of the best models.

If we would take a look at the Nike Air Force 1 "Topography Red" from a distance, we could easily mistake it for the popular "White" colourway, as the coloured details are only subtly applied. Upon closer inspection, however, we then recognise the thematic "Topography" details.

The side Swooshes and heel panels get the topographical patterns, some of which originate from the Swoosh logo. Red embroidery then further refines the design on the back and the mesh tongues with a white background. The branding on the insoles and the red line also revel in the scarlet hue, while the rest of the Air sole forgoes these accents in favour of a clean look. There's also a metallic hang tag with "NIKE AIR" branding to go with the sneakers.

We can expect the Nike Air Force 1 "Topography Red" to have the same benefits that have stood the test of time. Both genuine and synthetic leathers are perfectly matched for the style that fans absolutely love.

When we talk about Nike Air Max Plus sneakers, the Nike Air Max Plus 3 is usually not the main shoe that comes to mind. The silhouette is not often mentioned, although it deserves much more attention. Not only do they look incredibly sporty, but they are also among the most comfortable sneakers from Nike Air's wide range.

The Nike Air Max Plus 3 "Topography Red" is much more vibrant in contrast to the AF1, as the upper mesh gets full support from the theme-oriented style. The smaller Swooshes also seem to be the focal point here, and the embroidered red Swooshes pick up the colour that the other logos don't get.

The TPU overlays on the upper and rear are done in white, while red branding and colourful TN logos break up the colourless look on the AM Plus 3.

The sole of the Nike Air Max Plus 3 is made almost entirely of Nike Air. Balanced cushioning for all-day wear is evenly distributed under the shoe, while synthetic leather and mesh then reduce the overall weight.
