In addition, the Highs fall under the sub-label "THE10TH", a series created by Nike in honor of its founder Bill Bowerman. Bowerman was a soldier and member of the "Tenth Mountain Division". Those who are worried about frostbite and put on a second pair of socks before heading out should probably get their own pair half a shoe size bigger.
