Nike is slowly bringing back the popular Air Force 1 Mid with brand-new collaborations, hip concepts, and retro colourways. Most recently, the Beaverton-based label has confirmed a collaboration with Stüssy and a black and white Nike Air Force 1 Mid. Next up, the retro archive expands with this anniversary edition of the sneaker.

This version is a luxurious take on the silhouette. Above, exotic materials cover the Nike Air Force 1 Mid LX, and stark eye-catching patterns venture into new territory. They are possibly inspired by previous sneakers. But the base and overlays are much more exciting, as the patterned material, which looks like exotic crocodile leather, is highlighted with contrasting white stitching.

Elsewhere, Nike immortalises itself with large embroidery and anniversary markings. White "Air Force 1 since 1982" lettering is emblazoned on the black straps, and "Anniversary Edition" labels reference the milestone birthday.

In other regions, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid LX "Anniversary Edition" is already online, but in Europe, fans are still eagerly waiting for the sneaker to drop. We will notify you when the shoes are online.
