Joshua Vides and his cartoon-inspired, black and white design language has made its way into the art scene. And now, the artist is dropping a multi-part collection with New Balance that embraces the design.
The designer applies his sophisticated touch to the two New Balance sneakers, painting the collaborative New Balance 327 and the 57/40 in black and white. The former is done in black with splashes of white for contrast on the upper, while the Joshua Vides x New Balance 57/40 comes with an angelic background that works with the black outlines.
You can tweak the new style with a variety of apparel pieces. The team is dropping t-shirts, a hoodie, and shorts in a similar design. The release is on November 6th exclusively via Joshua Vides' online shop. A larger drop via New Balance could follow at a later date.

New Balance continues to stay on the fast track and is once again enlisting the help of a hip artist. The label is planning a collaborative sneaker with Joshua Vides for November, as the artist himself revealed on Instagram. We'll show you all the known details here.
If you've already taken a look at Joshua Vides' profile, you'll probably quickly realise that the designer loves bold contours and an animated look. The upcoming collaboration is supposed to look similar to this, because with his latest post, Josh only shows a small part of the New Balance 57/40, but the thick outlines confirm the assumptions.
A bright background and black eyelets then also recall Vides' style. The theme seems to be still unsettled, though, as the packaging hints at something fragile.
