Jeff Staple Modernises the Over-50-Year-Old PUMA Suede Shoe Design

A continuation of STAPLE's "dualism" theme, the Jeff Staple x PUMA Suede is inspired by the clash between man and machine. It mixes a monotone grey colour palette with multiple materials that highlight each part of the sneaker and add a twist to the timeless silhouette.

Diverse patterns and textures contrast on the Jeff Staple x PUMA Suede, providing a progressive take on the timeless silhouette, according to Jeff Staple. Individual Pigeon x PUMA tongue labels are then applied above, alluding to Jeff Staple's Chinese-American heritage.

Further yin and yang-inspired detailing can be found on the inner surfaces of the Jeff Staple x PUMA Suede, while black leather heels come with a Pigeon logo.

"The creation of Division Suede was inspired by the concept of dualism and the contrast between man and machine, which is reflected in the shoe's contrasting textures and patterns. The PUMA Suede is the perfect template, as it is one of the most recognisable classic sneaker silhouettes of all time. It's also great to be working with Foot Locker for the second time, who have long supported sneaker culture and have a great global reach for fans around the world," said Jeff Staple.

Drop of the Jeff Staple x PUMA Suede Will Take Place in Select Regions

The Jeff Staple x PUMA Suede will drop on February 10th. It will be released exclusively at Foot Locker and selected stores, with Foot Locker EU possibly not included.
