The upcoming sneaker from AURALEE and New Balance is now expected to be released this week, on July 16th. Unfortunately, we have to be prepared for an exclusive drop as the label has only confirmed the sneaker for Japan.

AURALEE from Japan is a rather inconspicuous brand here in Europe, but soon, we will get to know the label much better. On Instagram, AURALEE has announced a collaboration with New Balance. We can look forward to a new colourway of the retro sneaker. For this, AURALEE uses the typical look, which is characterised by a minimalist style.
AURALEE's own spin is a subtle colourway and high-quality materials. It's just perfect for the new 2021 autumn/winter collection, in which the sneakers have also made their first appearance. The new AURALEE x New Balance 550 has a tonal and classy make-up, which is realised from the heel all the way to the toes. Other changes we see in the midsole with a yellowed vintage hue.
In addition, there are elegant finishes on the inside of the sneaker. The insoles are made of leather for a cushioned appearance, which is reminiscent of earlier AURALEE collabs and goes well with the apparel. Lastly, outsoles with a soft beige tone round off the overall design.
When Is the AURALEE x New Balance 550 Set to Drop?
The AURALEE x New Balance 550 is part of the AURALEE FW21 collection. As such, fans are expecting a late summer 2021 drop, with the sneakers also likely to be released directly by New Balance.
