Instant Skateboards Could Publish a Dunk with Nike SB

Update 11.09.2020

It's been four months now since we got the first pictures of a potential Instant Skateboards x Nike collab. Now, it seems that things are really getting serious, because the official Nike pictures have now turned up! This is usually a sign that a release is imminent.

The official pictures reveal a mostly blue-dipped leather upper, which is contrasted by a grey toebox. The salient details of the shoe are the embroidery of a dog on the heel, while the branding of the skater shop can be found on the tongue and on the insole.

Don't Miss the Release of the Instant Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk

Unfortunately, there is no release date yet, but the fact that there are official pictures is a strong indication that we will see the release soon. We will stay tuned and keep you up to date.

Update 07.05.2020

Instant Skateboards is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and with Nike SB, it will be an even bigger event. The partners are releasing a Nike SB Dunk Low with a striking colour-blocking.

White, grey and blue shades contrast strongly with the black Swooshes and heels, while the tongue tag is quartered and features Instant's logo.

In the past, Nike SB has significantly increased its partnership with local shops. The special and unique sneakers with the retailers appear quite rarely and are thus among the most sought-after versions of Nike SB. The Swoosh could be the next to work with Japanese retailer Instant Skateshops.

And this collab certainly meets the Japanese brand at the right time. This year, Instant Skateshops celebrates its 25th anniversary, and the shop is commemorating this occasion with its own Dunk. The wild colour palette uses blue and white hits on the sneaker, which reminds us strongly of the Nike SB Dunk High Pro "Mulder" by Richard Mulder.

But there are also high-contrast black inserts that cover the heel, Swoosh and tongue. As if the mix wasn't already strong enough, Nike immortalizes itself with a yellow embroidery on the heel, led by a funny dog underneath the Swoosh.

Don't Miss the Release of the Instant Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk

We could very well imagine the colourway and look forward to celebrating this issue. Unfortunately, there is no release date yet. We will stay on it and keep you up to date.
