With the warm days of summer upon us, Jordan Brand is reportedly releasing a special kind of sneakers that react to heat. Insiders have now shown off a heat-sensitive Air Jordan 1 Mid on Instagram, which is set to drop soon.

The latest pair is said to have a colour-changing finish, though the base is strongly reminiscent of the "Black Toe". With a contrasting black and white upper, the AJ1 docks with the usual colourways.

The base is made of white leather, and next to it are black overlays, Swooshes, and outsoles. The biggest highlight of the sneaker, however, comes in the form of the ankle strap, heel, and tongue tags with heat-reactive properties. They change their colour, which looks very similar to a heat map.
