Foot Locker x adidas Dropping the AM4 in "Milan" Colourway
It's been a long time since Foot Locker and adidas presented to us their last exclusive. Now, a few months later, it's finally time! In the past, Foot Locker and adidas has already dropped the AM4 in different colourways, drawing their inspiration from the European Capitals of Culture.
Once again, for their next inspiration, the German sports giant travelled to Milan and, with the help of the Milan art collective Otln Studio, released a clean AM4 sneaker with some black details and pink accents. On the Primeknit vamp is featured a "BORN AND RAISED IN THE NINE" lettering that reflects the nine neighborhoods of the metropolis.
"We love our city, its neighborhoods, history and people. It is an honour and a dream to be able to design a shoe based on the city that inspires us daily as creators,” says Otln Studio. “To tell the story of Milan through a sneaker, we used three colours that represent the main features of the city. Dark grey stands for the quarter where we grew up, cream colours for Milan's historic cathedral and a bright coral colour for subtle details that indicate Milan's important relationship to fashion.”
Inspired by the stunning metro that is Milan, these awesome new sneakers are limited to 500 pairs only and will soon drop on July 31st at Milan's Foot Locker stores and fortunately for everyone, online.
