It's easy to see that the New York label Aimé Leon Dore has helped to bring the old New Balance 550 back to the people. The old basketball classic is totally popular again, and therefore, New Balance has been creating new colourways. Now, three new colourways have been announced for this week, which we really want to show you.
The new 550 trio gets vibrant styles with fresh colours. These include a "Varsity Gold", "Burgundy", and a "Black" colourway. New Balance tells us that these are original releases from 1989.
They take on a white-based leather upper and accentuate with grey suede overlays. Elsewhere, colourful details on the collar, branding, and outsole add even more contrast to the sneaker.
When and Where Will the Three New Balance 550s Drop?
The new New Balance 550 will drop on newbalance.com on May 7th. Unfortunately, the release in Europe has not yet been confirmed.
